The invite to play on the hallowed Wembley turf is the pinnacle of an adventurous career, consisting of highs and lows; England Football Thank you for recognising our efforts at FC Wood Green in the work that we do for the community.

What was once a dream, has now become a reality — Dream, but don't expect it to happen; if it does, embrace it, as well as ensuring that your roots and where you came from aren't forgotten. Congratulations Juyel Hussain (Director + Manager) and Nabeel Hashim (Captain + Coach) 👏

It goes to say that when you do something you love your whole life and you stick to it (without seeking extrinsic rewards, but rather for intrinsic rewards), things happen for you; and in this case to play at Wembley stadium, there is a sense of content that the work put had an ultimate purpose to it.

Moreover, it can be said that coaching provides the platform to take an individual to a place where they are unable to take themselves, and in order to achieve something they've never experienced, you’ve got to perform something they've never seen. Therefore, to guide students to a positive path and to witness their achievements creates a sensational feeling of satisfaction derived from the efforts in the process.

Lastly, everyone at FC Wood Green would like to use this opportunity to say thank you to all our volunteers and supporters for your ongoing efforts and supportive messages, for having attended the match at Wembley Stadium, and of course the loud and amazing cheering.
